I am very excited to announce a commission which will be on its way to the Austrian capital. More will be revealed about this project soon.

Fabrication of the lion for a private collector in Vienna is well underway. The geometry involved in the fabrication is complex and considered in order to achieve the resemblance and desired emotion. The face pictured above will be the only part which is symmetrical. It is important to place the angles and lines in the correct position to portray the majesty of this incredible animal. 

The work will be installed outside and so with this in mind every facet cut, positioned and welded is essential in creating movement which will change with the Alpine seasons. As the sun moves across the sky certain details in the sculpture will come alive.
